I am a photographer living in Ottawa, Canada.

My photography is shaped by a left-brain preoccupation with detail and constant striving to see with my right brain. Increasingly I'm drawn to abstraction as the truest expression of what ignites my imagination, and as a means of challenging aesthetic tropes.

A few things I know about myself…In an earlier lifetime I probably was Italian. In this life, I prefer white wine to red and consider gelato to be a food group. I believe that there are no clichés in nature and kindness is the most important virtue.

I use the camera to "draw with light",  animating form, pattern and structure to create photographs that reveal something unexpected to the viewer.

My other goal in life is to find the perfect gelato.
